Home/Archive library
Evidence, explained
Reading this archive library
A URL record documents an observed address and its available archive metadata. It does not recreate the page that once lived there.
What each field means
- Capture timestamp: the time recorded by the public archive for an observation, shown in UTC. It is not the original article publication date.
- Recorded status: the HTTP response reported for that historical observation. It does not establish the original content, its accuracy or its licensing.
- Provenance: the public archive inventory or reviewed historical path list from which the metadata came.
- Observed original URL: the exact scheme and host are retained when the source supplied them. Missing fields remain unknown.
- Catalogue publication: the fixed date this original metadata library was authored. Refreshing a page does not change it.
What this library cannot proveHistorical inventory completeness, content ownership, current indexing, crawler identity and search-ranking benefit remain unknown. No original scripts, downloads or article bodies are republished.
